This is the last Sweet Stop Sketch for this year….#191! Well, of course it is…this is the last DAY of this year! Here is the sketch:
I thought this sketch would work just fine for a card I was planning to make for my grandson (12 yrs. old) who just made straight A’s on his report card….he has had some bumps along the academic road, but has worked so hard to improve!
The plane is a Taylored Expressions die cut with a cute, matching message…card base is River Rock (one of the colors in the retired SU DSP Well Worn)…the layer of Not Quite Navy under the image is embossed with the Argyle folder.
The die cut comes with a matching stamp set….the picture below shows some of the plane stamp underneath the die cut…Can you see some of the outline?…I thought it added some more depth to the “popped up” plane.
What 12 year old boy can resist a red airplane and being called awesome?

What a wonderful card for a young boy…perfect colors and papers! Love the play on words with the sentiment, too! Thanks so much for playing along with us at The Sweet Stop this week, Susan!
That image looks fab with the embossing. A gorgeous creation. Thanks so much for playing at The Sweet Stop this week. Good Luck.
