Where does the time go?? I had such good intentions at the beginning of the year to keep up with the challenge, Merry Monday! I envisioned myself with a huge stash of Christmas cards by now…..Does time slip through your fingers as easily as it does mine? Well, I’m determined now to be diligent about “ramping up” and getting my cards under way….
The Merry Monday #75 Challenge is about making a Christmas card using red, dark brown, vanilla, and gold or champagne…..I immediately thought about the SU Glimmer paper and used it for the snowflakes on my card….
Isn’t it amazing that I actually had some dark brown Snowflake DSP? The vanilla paper was dry embossed with snowflakes and the Glimmer paper snowflakes were hung (with care….tee-hee) on delicate die-cut bows.
I honestly don’t know how I made cards before die-cuts! The branch, scalloped circle, and arrows are all die-cuts….love them! And the snowflake at the bottom of the card was stamped with metallic gold ink.
